Donna Ault Jacobson (Teen Acting Instructor) is a founding member and the current President of La Strada Ensemble Theater. She has been a professional actress and director for close to 40 years. She became interested in teaching acting while teaching classes at Screen Actors Guild over 20 years ago. She teaches acting and creative writing in Woodbridge Township School District. She has a BFA in professional acting and 3 Master's degrees. While living in New York she studied stage acting at HB Studio with both Herbert Berghof and his wife, Uta Hagen. She studied both commercial & film with Joan See at The Three of Us Studio. She has worked in films with Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Robert Montgomery, and Robin Williams. She had a small reoccurring role on Guiding Light as a police officer for a year and a half. She appeared on stage as Scott Bakula's wife, Susan, in the Sondheim musical, Company and as Candida in George Bernard Shaw's play Candida As a member of La Strada Ensemble she has had the opportunity to appear in many world premier productions written by the talented playwright members of our ensemble. A.J. Ciccotelli (Adult Acting Instructor) is a founding member and the Artistic Director of La Strada Ensemble Theater. He has been a professional actor, playwright, director and filmmaker for close to 35 years. He teaches acting, directing, playwriting and filmmaking at Ocean County Performing Arts Academy where he was named teacher of the year in 2012. He has a B.A. in acting, M.F.A. in playwriting from the Actors’ Studio at New School for Social Research in NYC and a M.A. in directing from Roosevelt University in Chicago. He has studied acting with Susan Astin (the late James Gandolfini ‘s acting coach), Susan Batson (Nichole Kidman’s acting coach), Kelly Morgan (Mint Theater Company), Verna Eggleson (Mint Theater Company), E. Katherine Kerr (Obie Award Winner), John Basil (American Globe Theater), Bill Hickey (Oscar Award Nominee), Bill Alton (Founding Member of Second City) and various amazing teachers at Roosevelt University and London’s Globe Theater where he studied in 2006 on a fully paid scholarship being named Scholar of the year by the English Speaking Union. He was also awarded in 2009 the Claudia Louise Tarver Award from the Two River Theater Company for Inspiring Community Youth Through Theater. He appeared Off-Broadway in the title role Richard II by Shakespeare, The Character in Ionesco’s A Hell of a Mess and a slew of original work by fellow La Strada Company Members. He appears in the film of Ricky’s Story, IWSK, Rock Paper Scissors and Clean Cut soon to be released. He is set to play Philip in the web series Christine Needs to Take a Nap starring fellow ensemble member Christine Nagy co-host of the Bronson & Christine Show on Lite-FM.
